Library
June 3, 2020: Jensen Memorial Library will be open to the public.
Jensen Memorial Library is closed starting March 17, 2020.
During this time they will be offering a curbside pickup service. Call or email the library the information about the item(s) you may wish to check out, or place a hold through our online catalog. Staff will process the check out and contact you to schedule a pick up time. All items currently checked out will have Due Dates extended until the closure period is over. No fines will be accrued while the library is closed.
Staff will be in the building Monday through Friday 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. to assist via phone and email.
Online resources including Overdrive and NebraskAccess are also available during this time.

Recycling
- July 20, 2020: Curbside recycle will resume.
- June 10, 2020: Recycle trailers will be available weekly, Wednesday at 10 a.m. through Thursday, or until full at the old 5th Street IGA parking lot at the corner of 5th Street and Nebraska Avenue.
- April 7, 2020: Residential curbside pickup is discontinued until further notice
- March 19, 2020: The recycling trailers are not available at this time.

City Hall
June 15, 2020: City Hall doors will be open to walk-in traffic. The use of the drop box for payments is still encouraged.
City Hall has closed it’s doors for walk-in traffic. We are still open for business through telephone, email, or by appointment. Payments or other documents can be placed in the drop box by the front door. If you have questions regarding your balance, you may call City Hall at (308) 832-1820.

Pool
The Pool will be opening June 17th. There will be 4 sessions available per day with 75 minutes each, 25 people per session. Session can be reserved online on the City of Minden Facebook page or website. Next week’s sign up will be available Friday’s at noon. Pool passes will be available for purchase at City Hall.

Other Information
- March 2, 2020: Christmas lights will no longer be on due to the high number of people traveling into our area to view. Those coming into Minden are potentially transmitting the virus when visiting our gas stations and restaurants.
