1. When is the next City Council meeting?

City Council meetings are held at 6:00 pm on the first and third Monday of every month. Meetings take place at: City Chambers 325 N. Colorado Avenue Minden, NE 68959 If the scheduled Monday is a holiday, then the meeting is scheduled for the first business day after the holiday.

2. How do I get an item on a council agenda?

Please fill out the Future Agenda Item Request form and submit to the City of Minden offices at 325 N Colorado.

3. How do I find out what items will be on the next City Council Agenda?

At least 48 hours prior to the meeting date and time, agendas are posted inside City Hall, outside of City Hall, First Bank, Minden Exchange Bank, and the Post Office. Click here to view the

4. When is the next City Council and/or Mayoral election?

Elections are every two years in November. The Mayor and council members serve a four year term. Contact the County Clerk for more information at 308-832-2723.

5. How do I address an issue with the City Council?

To speak at a City Council Meeting, the topic wishing to be discussed must be on the consent agenda. If the item is not on the agenda, then you may fill out the “Request for a Future Agenda Item” form. If your request is approved, then your topic will be placed on an upcoming agenda.
